Thai Linux Working Group

Hi everybody,

I don't know if this is the right place for this kind of topic, but I post it anyway with my apology :)

I represent a French company wishing to develop a solution using the Linux OS (Ubuntu) in Thailand. I start to use Linux with Debian since a long time and I love it.

I'm looking for Linux engineer with a good level of experience in Debian/Ubuntu system. We want to build a 6 engineers "dreamteam" :p for our Linux solution developpement. Below, are the skills that we seek :

- Debian knowledge / APT Packages (mandatory)
- Bash (mandatory)
- Perl (mandatory)
- C (mandatory)
- Compilation of linux applications (configure, make,...) (mandatory)
- Kernel compilation (mandatory)
- MySQL (mandatory)
- Subversion (mandatory)
- Apache2 (appreciated)
- Nagios (appreciated)
- Cacti (appreciated)
- Iptables / LVS (appreciated)
- PXE / initrd / CDROM boot / USB boot (appreciated)
- VLC configuration, video transcoding, codec knowledge, etc.. (this is a more !)

We are also looking a webmaster :
- CSS (mandatory)
- PHP (mandatory)
- HTML (mandatory)
- AjaX (mandatory)
- MySQL (mandatory)
- Some links to existing work (appreciated)

And we looking a graphic designer
- Some links to existing work with explanation of the specifications (mandatory)
- MacroMedia Flash (appreciated)
- CSS (appreciated)

Speaking English is highly appreciated in order to understand the documentation and participate actively in the team. We are looking for people motivated, passionate and independent.
Project will be start in January / February 2009 in our desk in Bangkok.
